We have been successful in securing funding through WorkCover to run a Lunch and then a series of 7 free workshops on the significant changes to the WHS legislation aimed at micro /  small businesses .

The Lunch event featuring Darren Flanagan the explosive expert from the Beaconsfield Mine Rescue will be held on Friday 11th May at  St George Motor Boat club from 12.30 and tickets are only $33 for a 3 course meal & speaker. The lunch is designed  to focus businesses attention on Work Health & Safety through the use of the very high profile Darren "The Gun" Flanagan the explosive expert behind the Beaconsfield Mine rescue and then hear from WorkCover experts.  At the lunch attendees will also be encouraged to sign up for the free workshops to be conducted in June & July in St George, Sutherland Shire and Bankstown. I would personally like to invite you and your Chamber members to attend the lunch and to host the event on your websites as well as send details through your database. This is a great opportunity to let your members know about the significant changes to WHS legislation as well as enjoy a fantastic Corporate Lunch.  Attendees will also be invited enrol in the free workshops which have limited places.
